Google Cloud Launches Financial Services AI Platform

Five Layers Support Governed Financial Workflows

The suite includes a Google-managed Financial Research agent, more than 50 purpose-built financial skills, licensed enterprise connectors and third-party agents. The Financial Research agent provides confidence scores, explicit methodologies and auditable data snapshots, while connecting through Model Context Protocol integrations and Agent-to-Agent APIs. Governed platform controls add audit logging, risk controls and centralised IT visibility across jurisdictions.

AI Targets Research Onboarding And Risk Analysis

The platform targets operational friction across corporate banking, prime brokerage and trading desks by processing PDFs, spreadsheets and regulatory filings. It supports onboarding by mapping corporate hierarchies and resolving ultimate beneficial owners . For fixed-income desks, the system can reduce complex bond portfolio risk exposure analysis to less than five minutes, generate duration-hedging suggestions and compress client pitch preparation from days to minutes.

Deutsche Bank Helps Shape Enterprise Deployment

Google Cloud worked with Deutsche Bank on data protection, residency and workflow mechanics for regulated environments. The platform operates within Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, while integration partners include Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG and Capgemini. Its financial onboarding capabilities include support for Know Your Customer processes, and Deutsche Bank said the solution could reduce manual research and improve output consistency and auditability.
